Welcome to the Adams Family's Site

Winter 2007 Hi Y'all... I haven't written in ages. Winter came with a vengeance and we managed to escape colds and flu's...until now. However, a lengthy spell in bed is doing wonders for catch-up emails, picture-printing and website updates! The spate of picture-printing has yielded these snaps which I will put into a blog format with those random comments I specialise at! Take only half of what I say seriously...but anyone who knows us well enough to read this website will know that! :-)

Autumn  2007 Here's an update I wrote for my brother in February. Also some photos from my sister Christina's wedding in Fiji, and some photos of Louis' christening.  This is the one page I managed to do over Summer. For those in the US, our summer came late and stayed long. In fact, I'm not quite sure it's gone away yet.

Animal Farm Death reigns on the farm. The pigs have died. Yum. One cow (Guildenstern) has been turned into fillet steak and stewing meat. Rosencrantz has been joined in the paddock by Sylvia (named after Sylvia Plath, who died with her head in the oven.)
On the pet front, we adopted "Jophes", a baby lamb who was rejected by his mother.  After the heart-warming first weeks, he's become a pain in the butt! He refuses to accept that he's not human or dog, and runs up and down the paddock "baa-ing" at us, demanding to be let out. He's rather cute, actually.

The House Now it's only when I look up at the star-encrusted sky and back down again that I am surprised to find a house in the middle of our paddock.  The plantings are growing and plans for our future garden and courtyard are taking shape, slowly. It's not as though we have much spare time, actually!

Baby Louis Louis celebrated his first birthday on Monday, 13 August. He has 8 teeth, grins and drools alot. He crawls at speed (on all fours!), and is very independent and focused, just like his father. He's still very mellow, except when wanting food or for me to stop changing his nappy or putting clothes on him. Winter time's colds make him grouchy, but he becomes still and cuddly when we float in a full bath.

George George is nearly 3, and is still sunshine and sweetness personified, who crawls into our bed at night for cuddles. Not that we aren't experiencing some standard tantrums, though!

Lucia Lucia is 4, and is at preschool and morning kindergarten. She's turning into a beautiful girl, although she is occasionally "determined and energetic". (That's how the books refer to problems that parents of 4 year olds find themselves confronted with.)

Friends and Family Here are some of our favourite photos of friends and family, collected at random.

I've also added last years' updates: Winter 2005 , Early 2006, Winter 2006.
We've left up our wedding photos and Christmas letters from 2003, 2004 and 2005 so old friends can catch up on the last few years.
